Step-by-step installation
1. Prepare your vehicle
Wash the surface thoroughly and dry it completely. Work in a dust-free, shaded area — direct sunlight and hot panels make the film harder to position and can cause premature activation of the adhesive.
2. Prep the surface
Spray the panel with a soapy water solution. This keeps the film workable and prevents it from tacking down before it's positioned correctly.
3. Position the film
Peel back the liner, lightly mist the adhesive side with slip solution, then place the film and slide it into position. LUXE GLIDE InstaGel is built for this step — it gives you a longer working window to get alignment right before the film grabs.
4. Smooth and secure
Work the squeegee from the center outward to push out water and air. A heat gun helps the film conform around curves and body lines without stretching or lifting at the edges.

6. Final touches
Wipe down the surface, inspect the full panel for trapped moisture or air, and allow a full 24-hour cure time before washing the vehicle or exposing it to heavy rain.
