Returns & Refunds Policy

LUXE Protection Films is a wholesale (B2B) supplier. We sell paint protection film, window film, and related products to authorized dealers, installers, and distributors. We do not sell directly to vehicle owners or the general public. This policy applies to every order placed through www.luxeppfilms.com.

This policy covers the return of product. Defects that appear in film after it has been installed are handled separately under the LUXE Limited Warranty.

At a glance

  • Return window: 30 days from the delivery date
  • Condition required: Unopened, factory-sealed, in original packaging
  • Return method: By mail, to the LUXE facility, with an RMA number
  • Return shipping: Paid by the sender (the returning dealer)
  • Restocking fee: None on unopened product; 50% on opened product
  • Refund issued to: The original payment method

1. Unopened product — 30 days

Unopened product may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided it is:

  • Factory-sealed and unopened, with all seals and liners intact
  • In its original packaging, with the original core, box, and labels
  • Free of writing, retail stickers, or removed lot and batch labels

Return shipping is paid by the sender. LUXE does not issue prepaid return labels for standard returns. Once the return is received and inspected, the full purchase price of the product is refunded to the original payment method. Original outbound shipping charges are not refunded.

2. Opened product — 50% restocking fee

Opened product is not eligible for standard return. Where LUXE elects to accept it, an opened return is subject to a 50% restocking fee, applied once a claim has been filed and approved. The fee is deducted from the refund and reflects the cost of receiving, inspecting, re-testing, and repackaging film that has left its sealed condition.

Opened returns must still fall within 30 days of delivery, must be shipped back at the sender's expense, and must arrive in resalable condition. Partially used rolls, cut sheets, plotter-cut pieces, and product showing handling damage, contamination, or edge lift are not accepted.

3. Damage in transit or on delivery

Product damaged in transit is a carrier claim. LUXE will provide replacement product at no charge once the claim is documented. To qualify:

  1. Note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing, if the damage is visible at delivery.
  2. Report it within 5 business days of delivery using the LUXE Return Claim Form.
  3. Provide photographs — the outer carton or crate as received, the shipping label, the packing slip, and the damaged product itself.

Replacement product ships once the documentation and photographs have been received and reviewed. Damage reported after 5 business days, or reported without photographs, cannot be substantiated with the carrier and is not eligible for replacement.

4. Not returnable

  • Custom-cut, plotter-cut, or made-to-order product
  • Clearance, closeout, and final-sale items
  • Product past the 30-day window
  • Product returned without an RMA number
  • Installed film — covered under the LUXE Limited Warranty instead

5. How to file a return claim

  1. Submit the return claim form. Use the LUXE Return Claim Form. You will be asked for your origin of purchase, the purchase date, and proof of purchase.
  2. Wait for your RMA number. LUXE reviews claims within 2 business days and issues an RMA number and return address by email. Returns received without an RMA number are refused.
  3. Ship the product back. Write the RMA number on the outside of the carton and ship it at your expense, insured and with tracking.
  4. Refund. Once the return is received and inspected, your refund is issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.

6. Exchanges and account credit

Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method by default. Dealers with an open account may instead request account credit, or a straight exchange for the same product in a different size or finish. Note your preference on the claim form.

7. Warranty claims are separate

If film has already been installed and is showing a manufacturing defect — loss of adhesion, bubbling, or delamination — that is a warranty matter, not a return. See the LUXE Limited Warranty for coverage, conditions, and how to file.
